Mimosa's and Honeymoons
Yesterday Glove and I enjoyed our first official GlakerNation day. We are trying to establish a best-friend's Sunday ritual. Shopping and boozing. Maybe not so much shopping as browsing and looking for the cutest boutiqes in Baltimore. And maybe not so much boozing as just having a couple of beers. Yesterday we stopped into "Don't Know" and had a couple of crappy Mimosa's and two pints of Honeymoon... Blue Moon's seasonal brew, which I highly recommend. Full of flavor, but not heavy at all.
Our favorite picks of the day: The Clothing Warehouse located at 1211 South Charles Street and American Apparel at 1125 Light Street.
The Clothing Warehouse is packed to the brim with hand-picked vintage items, ranging from around the 50's through the 80's and 90's. Glove tried on a sexy 70's outfit and I had a club-glam 80's dress. They took a photo of us in our garb, and they said it will make it up on their blog, so we'll have to wait and see. To check in on their website click here or their blog click here.
American Apparel is a treasure-trove of everyday basics in all colors of the rainbow... tights, thermals, leggings, dresses and of course T's. A girl can never have enough t-shirts... especially when they're white. There are very few people who CAN'T carry off a white t-shirt, collared or otherwise.
Next Sunday is Easter, so GlakerNation will be enjoying food with our families, but we will be in full swing again on the following Sunday.
Till then, enjoy the view of Baltimore on a sunny spring day!
